So, like, my sister was watching a recording of the Ellen Degeneres show and I was in the room. They were doing a game of guessing accents, and I was watching that part. The accent was Swedish, and the guy guessing said Swiss. Ellen said it was pretty much the same thing, and he got it.

I made a comment on how Swedish and Swiss weren’t the same. My sister then told me that I was wrong, and that Swiss was short for Swedish. As if she knows better than I do, y’know.

Swedish. Sweden. One of the Nordic countries. Up by Finland and Norway. They speak, y’know, Swedish there. 

Swiss. Switzerland. Located just above Italy. They speak German, French, and Italian. 

The only similarity is that they’re both cold. And foreign countries.
